Dear Mrs Sandberg,

I am yet on another trip to Las Vegas "I hated it, but Las Vegas was cheap and so was my father, so off we went"(50). I have gone to Las Vegas so many times that I could probably go there with my eyes closed. Every time we would go, a ritual would always have to be performed "The most important part of yor ritual involved my mother's holding the Koran at the top of the doorframe while we each walked under it. For my parents they hoped one without speeding tickets"(50-51). Going to Las Vegas makes me think about when I went to the Caspian Sea. "The drive between Tehran and the Caspian Sea is one of the most beautiful streaches of land that I have ever seen"(53). On top of this lousy vacation I get to see one of the people in the world that I hate the most, Al. My dad would always get us a room into the motel by making a deal with Al. Of all the trips that my family could take, Las Vegas was my fathers choice everytime. My mother never had any suggestions most likely because my father would always say it would be to expensive. But after my fathers gambling extraviganza, we would all eat at the 3.99 all-you-can-eat buffet. "Even when my father had just lost hundreds of dallors at the blackjack table, we felt that we were beating the system by filling ourselves with more food than we were actually paying for'(53). I hope that this will be the last letter to you from Las Vegas. Because I would rather be in your second grade class again, having a lot more fun than I am here.

Sincerly, Firoozeh
